Traction Batteries

General Information

Mutlu Traction Batteries, which stand out as a clean energy source in closed environments where environmental factors are especially important, are preferred as the power source in electrically operated vehicles. Mutlu Traction Batteries, with a wide product range compliant with DIN and BS standards, use tubular plate technology (PzS, PzSB, PzSBL). Thanks to the tubular positive plate technology, they are resistant to deep discharges and offer long life.

Operating based on the fundamental principles of lead-acid batteries, Mutlu Traction Batteries have a wide range of industrial applications. Electric forklifts, pallet trucks, platforms and cranes, mining locomotives, aviation ground support equipment, stacking machines, battery-powered tuggers, floor cleaning vehicles, and conveyor systems all rely on Mutlu Traction Batteries for their electrical energy needs.

Thanks to the special design of the active material and grids placed inside non-woven tube-type separators in Mutlu Traction Batteries, the active material stays on the plate for a long time, ensuring the battery’s longevity. The optimized low-antimony grid alloys offer high corrosion resistance and minimum water loss. The separators that encase the positive plates in a sleeve shape also eliminate the risk of short circuits.

The battery components are housed in cases made of polypropylene, which are resistant to acid and impact. The sealing gaskets on the cover ensure the tightness of the terminals. The prisms at the bottom of the battery cases collect any sediment that may eventually detach from the plates, preventing short circuits. The cover includes plugs that allow the gases generated during charging to exit the battery. The automatic filling system equalizes the electrolyte levels inside the cells, while the air mix system allows effective mixing of the electrolyte with the air introduced into the cell. Additionally, the level sensor, which makes it easy to monitor the electrolyte levels via LED light, is available as an optional feature according to customer preferences.

Mutlu Traction Batteries are designed to meet customer needs and expectations with options such as BS Type, DIN/Flexible Type, DIN/Perfect Type, and 6V Golf batteries. (PzS) type batteries range from 120Ah to 1550Ah, while BS (PzSB) type batteries are available in capacities ranging from 80Ah to 900Ah within the Mutlu Traction product range.
