Stationary Batteries

Mutlu Stationary (OPzS) Batteries are a technologically advanced version of general lead-acid stationary facility batteries. Designed and manufactured with minimal maintenance and low energy costs in mind, they operate on a float charge system for the user. Their key feature is the low-antimony lead alloy, which minimizes self-discharge and significantly reduces water loss. The active material’s ignition and charge-discharge capability are high.

Delivered fully charged and ready for use, Mutlu Stationary Batteries can be easily installed with minimal training. Under normal float charge, they require no addition of distilled water for 2-3 years or longer. The boxes are equipped with transparent plastics showing the electrolyte level with min/max level lines. Thanks to the sealed cover and specially manufactured ceramic plugs, there is no acid splash or leakage.

Mutlu Stationary (OPzS) Batteries are made with injection technology that forms corrosion-resistant grids and positive plates made from lead with a purity of 99.99%. The negative plates, which have a special paste formula to provide high performance, are made of negative grids that retain the active material for a long period of time. Leaf-type separators with high porosity and resistance to puncturing are used. The low-antimony grid alloys provide high corrosion resistance and minimal water loss.

Mutlu Stationary (OPzS) Batteries use transparent containers made of materials resistant to acid and impacts (SAN container and ABS lid). The prisms at the bottom of the containers eliminate the risk of short circuits. The lids feature sealing gaskets that ensure the tightness of the terminals, and removable ceramic plugs allow for electrolyte density measurement and water addition. Mutlu Stationary batteries, which can withstand 1,200 to 1,500 charge-discharge cycles, have a service life of 15 years or more.

Mutlu Stationary (OPzS) Batteries, with capacities ranging from 150Ah to 5,000Ah, are manufactured according to TSE and DIN standards and their electrical values are measured. They are widely used in telecom stations, power distribution stations, solar power plants, wind energy plants, thermal power plants, hydroelectric plants, security systems, rail systems, data centers, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
